This afternoon after a frustrating day full of "NOs" for Keona he declared:
"You are a 'NOer' mommy; I am a 'YESser'."

When Keona clearly wants to do something you have told him not to do he says:
"Daddy, go over there!" or "Go out of here".

Ladybug, Ladybug

Keona loves ladybugs, so we got habitat where he can watch them grow and change. It is fascinating. We get them as larva and get to see them become pupae and emerge in their ladybug form; then we can set them free.

The pictures below are what happened in the habitat tonight, with comments. There will be updates.

Larva

This is a ladybug larva. The little blue and white balls are food and water.

Molting

I think this one may be molting.

Pupae

We're not sure, but we think these are entering the pupae stage.

Keona has......

caught his first fish,
flown his first kite,
can name 7 dinosaurs,
loves the orca whale,
learned to peddle his tricycle,

but

IS NOT SLEEPING ALL NIGHT. : (

Kalani is......

sleeping all night,
chattering and squealing,
laughing out loud,
eating cereal (banana is his favorite),
rolling over,
grasping his toys,
lights up when his brother arrives,

AND did I mention: SLEEPING ALL NIGHT?
