Once we left Colorado and headed into Wyoming on our way to Custer, South Dakota... passing through the legendary wide open spaces, we passed it. The quintessential American farm. Red barn and all. It was beautiful... and it wasn't the only one. There were many. I really got a kick out of it. Maybe because those wide open spaces were a bit tedious and unnerving!
